Archetypes

The Archetypes section presents character concepts and role options for players in Insect Steampunk.

These materials are meant to show the kinds of characters that fit naturally into the world and to help players imagine how they want to take part in its societies, conflicts, and stories.

What to expect

Archetypes may include:

• thematic character roles
• social or functional roles in the setting
• examples of how characters can differ in specialization
• concepts that reflect the structure and atmosphere of the world

The goal is not only to define player options mechanically, but also to help connect characters to the world itself.

Project status

As the rules and setting continue to evolve, archetypes may also be revised, expanded, or reorganized.
